Sport at Purley
We provide our students the opportunity to become resilient, hardworking, respectful and fair. We aim to show students that they can achieve success no matter what experience or ability they have.
Sport at Harris Academy Purley is growing year on year, with teams now regularly competing in local, regional and national competitions in football, basketball, netball, rugby, cricket, athletics and table tennis. We have created links with local community sports teams to enhance our extra-curricular activities to ensure that every student can take part in sport outside of the classroom.
FootballOur football teams, both boys and girls, compete in the Croydon Schools League, Croydon Schools Cup, Harris Federation Cup and English Schools Cup. Students have access to regular training sessions alongside a competitive fixture list. |
