Good morning Parents/Carers,
My name is Karen Brown, and I am the Admissions Officer here at Harris Academy Purley.
I understand in this current climate where things are financially difficult, and with the new school year just around the corner, that new school uniform can be very expensive. With this in mind, we will be holding a “Preloved uniform” day, here at the school, where parents can come in and potentially obtain some items of clothing to help with that financial burden.
To enable me to do this I will need donations. So, if you have any items of school uniform which are no longer needed, or used by your child/ren, and you would like to donate them, then we would love to receive them.
Items needed…
We would ask that all items are in a good, wearable condition.
Starting from Monday 17th June, we will accept your “preloved uniform” in the reception area. There will be a designated space where it can be left. This will then be sorted and prepared for Friday 2nd August 2024, where we will display all the items, ready for you to come and select from the stock of uniform provided.
There will be no charge for the uniform, but we will be collecting donations which will go to the Great Ormand Street children’s hospital.
